Speeches/Courses/Contests

The World Economic Forum course is an honors course supported by the Taiwan Footwear Education Foundation. It is personally led and taught by Chairman Kao Cheng-Shu, with four faculty members collaborating in the weekly sessions.

Through discussions of global economic issues, students and faculty explore a way of thinking that emphasizes structures in the long term, cycles in the medium term, and events in the short term. The course encourages students to view the world from different perspectives, develop reflective thinking and a broader global outlook, and learn not only how to understand the world, but also how to live meaningfully.

When noise becomes merely a surface phenomenon, silence may be the prelude to profound change.

For those who are interested, give yourself an opportunity to rediscover the world.

Students must apply and undergo a selection process to enroll in this course; it is not available through the regular course registration system. Participants come from a wide range of academic departments at Feng Chia University, creating an interdisciplinary learning environment that values group discussion, mutual exchange, and collaborative learning.

Online application and selection are required. Please refer to the application form for further details.
